Crazy Laws ~~ Florida

Throughout history there have been laws passed and laws removed from the books. Depending on what era you grew up in, I'm sure all the laws made sense at that time. As time has progressed, some of the laws that could be deemed crazy, weird, or just plain stupid have managed to slip through the filter and remain intact. 

These are a few of the crazy laws that are still on books in these here United States of America, Florida. 

1.  Florida (accidentally) banned all computers and smartphones in internet cafes.  When Florida lawmakers recently voted to ban all Internet cafes, they worded the bill so poorly that they effectively outlawed every computer in the state, according to a recent lawsuit.  Oopsie 

2.  Unmarried couples may not commit “lewd acts” and live together in the same residence.

3.  It is illegal to sell your children.  Isn't that sorta kinda a law in EVERY state?? 

4.  It is considered an offense to shower naked.  

5.  You are not allowed to break more than three dishes per day, or chip the edges of more than four cups and/or saucers.  I know a few people who would be in trouble with this one. 

6.  Women may be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner.

7.  You may not kiss your wife’s breasts.

8.  Penalty for horse theft is death by hanging.

9.  Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal.... and I would guess painful as well. 

10.  Oral sex is illegal.
